Good Authentic Indian Cuisine

If you are willing to wait then that's fine. 45 min to receive the starters, then 45 min for the main courses. It's simple, you lose your appetite. Come with two or three Netflix episodes. However the food is of a high standard, a bit pricey for what you get. The observation is sadly simple: to be avoided.

Well, place is ok. Very small area, the meals are okay. We ordered food and waited more than 50 minutes. no AC, so its hot inside. In addition you can not pay by card, which is also a minus. Not recommended

Have been here many times, good food but there is the business lunch we always took it which then costs 9.50 € and suddenly the dishes were brought to us a la carte and it was said that it should have been said that you want a business lunch. Then the dish cost 17.50, almost double. Actually everything was always good, but today was an absolute cheek!

Over-priced, average tasting food combined with mediocre service. Of the 30 or so Indian restaurants I visited over the years, including in India, this one stood out for not offering free chutneys with its single, sad looking, oily Papadum. Very rare and a real disappointment. Plus, we were asked if we wanted water even before we got to ordering the main drinks. Normally, this means you are talking about free tap water for the table, yet the surprise came later. Then, there was a 30 minute wait until our vegetarian Thalis were served. Each had only 4 different dishes, many again quite oily. I had asked for it to be spicy, but it was mild. The only redeeming element were the Nan and the Roti, both well done with satisfying, flaky texture and complex flavor. The service was sadly quite 'matter of fact', disinterested and curt - we were not asked if we liked the food. The decor of the restaurant is bland and the tables are stacked closely. Finally, the prices are high given the quality. One Thali costs 18 Euro. A bottle of water costs 6 Euro. To put this into perspective, these are prices that are higher than in Central London where a better Thali at a top Indian restaurant costs 13 British pounds, ie about 16 Euro. Different counties, different prices, but this restaurant clearly benefits from the lack of competition in Baden-Baden, with only one other Indian restaurant. I can't recommend it if you have previously enjoyed the absolute delight of a really good Indian restaurant and would instead suggest going to Karlsruhe where there are several much better options.

Very good and delicious

We went there for dinner, to celebrate the night before my birthday. Though they only accept pre-booking, they were gracious enough to arrange a seat for us in the bar area. We ordered fish curry, veg pulao and mix veg, naan, samosa and wines. We had a long conversation with owner. She was so delightful and charming as a person. We would definitely go back there someday.

Our absolute favourite Indian restaurant in Baden Baden!!! I would happily set it on the same standard as any top major city Indian restaurant. Family run, a lot of care is put into the food and the maintain the reputation. Make sure to reserve it’s always fully booked. Otherwise stop by and you might get a seat at the bar where you can eat.

Excellent food, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Small restaurant, best to have a reservation but we’ve been lucky twice and got a table on a walk in.

In the afternoon I could not eat the eggs, only the rice. I said it was good from the evening. I felt sorry for that, but the food was really good. The staff was nice and friendly.

Amazing Indian restaurant in Baden-Baden. Small place with only a few tables. Get a reservation if you can. Or walk in and sit at one of four seats at the bar. So delicious!!

Goog food but almost all the dishes have a similar taste. Im not saying that its not tasty it is, and the service is good and fast. Owner recommended the carrot halva for the dessert and we were amazed. Once more good food but if you wanna get a table its better to make a reservation then to hunt for one because they are always full.

The food and the cooks get 5 ☆ Baden-Baden prices for a very good performance. I am from Stuttgart and I love spicy Indian foods. I was in Baden Baden for a short holiday before the Christmas and I had a lunch at this very nice restaurant. I enjoyed the atmosphere and delicious foods. It is family run place and the staff were also very friendly. I will go there again next time I visit Baden Baden.

One of the oldest Indian family restaurants in Baden Baden. Always fully booked , so make sure you reserve in advance . It is very small and cosy . Great soup appetisers and fantastic prawns

Very delicious Indian food. We were shocked that it was actually run by non Indians. Kudos to the person who started this, the quality of the food is very good. And on the bonus you get bowl of rice for free on ordering any curry. We had samosa in starters, they were freshly prepared. It is Expensive. We had the most expensive meal in the entire weekend trip here.

If their is a zero rate i will choose rude persons they dont come to help if needed i dont think even they sell halal food no trust they serve alcohol badest in baden baden

Food was good, however the waiter / owner was rude and made various remarks which we did not appreciate and spoiled our experience.

An expensive restaurant, the food is not worth the amount paid, the staff are not friendly, the quantities are very small, and the taste is less than normal. I never advise you to waste time and money on it and there are other options that are better than outside Baden-Baden. The handling is bad and the place is very small. The dishes are not clean and the restaurant atmosphere is very depressing. Expensive and the food quality not worth the price. The staff are not friendly at all. The food portions were too small and not tasty. Don't waste your time and money and fins another Indian restaurant away from the Baden-Baden center. The restaurant atmosphere was not comfortable and very small. Also the plates and spoons were dirty. Even with the small place they are not response to us!

Extremely unprofessional staff, very slow in service. Waited for a while outside with no one attending us and when i complained they did not like it. Bad first impression on the customer service. Thr store manager was extremely rude and ask me to leave and come back when they will serve all the people in the restaurant. Extremely bad experience.

Not at all recommended. Doesn't have the taste of authentic Indian food. Myself and my girlfriend had a stomach upset after we ate there They just use one sauce as their base sauce for all the soups and other main dishes. I would never ever go there again ! PS. The mango lassi was not even mango. They never use the mango pulp or puree for the lassi (it tasted like some "Schorle" with the buttermilk which didn't even taste like mango lassi).

Visited the place yesterday . Food is good. But the waiter is rude and disrespectful. He thinks acting like a smarty pants is the best way to deal with customers . I will not go back there ever .

There food wasn’t that good because we didn’t feel the taste of Indian food and they were so slow in bringing the food and the food was cold (BAD)

One of the worst place i have ever visited. I went there with family (2 young kids). The owner was very rude and aggressive. Thats one thing the other is the pricing. we had ordered Daal and rotis (Lentils & Bread) which came after 30 min and owner who i think is sick and wearing nasal cannula was staring us all the time like he does not like us being there not sure why! when the waitress served the food kids were bit unsettled so we decided to take the food away (because we didn't want to disturb anyone) we politely requested even walking to the counter and he started shouting we are very busy, go to your table & we will come as and when possible. then i asked him to be polite and he goes you cannot talk to me like this i am the owner..... this experience was the worst ever Avoid Or if you want to go make him realise how to value the customer because they are paying for your service not for your rude behaviour :(
